Festival Diaries: Coachella Finale!

On their first day back in the office, Estelle, Verity & Jill talked to us about their Coachella experience from start to finish...

"It's hard to believe that only a day ago we were in sunny LA surrounded by palm trees and sand dunes!"

  
"Being the first festival of the year, Coachella has got us really excited about the summer and all of the UK festivals ahead. The atmosphere was electric and there was a real buzz about all of the acts playing over the weekend."

"Coachella prides itself on being one of the greenest festivals in the world and it was very evident! The fields were litter free and everything was so clean - quite a change from some other festival's we've been to..."

 
"The festival was more glamourous than we'd imagined - though whatever they were wearing the girls all looked effortlessly cool and were gorgeous. The stylish attendees have truly set the summer trends - we spotted sheer maxis, lace, aztec prints and denim hotpants worn with swimwear."

 
"Of course, Coachella made deciding what to wear easy - without a cloud in the sky we didn't have to worry about what would go with our wellies and ponchos!"

"Not only as the fashion amazing - the music at Coachella was phenomenal. Our favourites were Lauryn Hill, Warpaint, Ellie Goulding, The Strokes and the Kills. It was amazing watching the bands play with palm trees swaying in the background and the mountains as a backdrop - it's a scene we'll never forget."

 
"The evening pool parties at the Ace Hotel were great fun too - everyone was as glamourous as they were friendly and they loved us for our British accents!"

 
"Food at the festival was pretty similar to what you'd expect here - a real mix of everything from Asian to Italian, Mexican to Greek - and we definitely indulged! Before the festival started we had a chance to pop to La Quinta which is an amazing Spanish-looking hotel for food. They scooped out avacados and made fresh guacamole for our nachos at our table - delicious!"

 
"We were all a little disappointed not to have seen any of the celebrities at the festival itself - but bumping into Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart (The Kills) at the airport was an amazing end to a fantastic festival weekend - they're so cool!"
